Photo of last three Popes together

It looks Pope John Paul II has his eyes in nothing, while Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger sees JP II and Cardinal Mario Bergoglio sees Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger.

Many people can see this picture and think "this a coincidence, these catholic religious are always doing things together", but faithful ones can see through the picture and capture the intention of God in the providence that put all the three Popes in touch.

  1. This was taken in 1985, Pope Francis was not a Cardinal until 2001.

  2. Thanks for your correction, Jennifer.

  3. That is the then future Cardinal Jorge María Mejía. Mejía was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and was made a Chaplain of His Holiness on 20 September 1978. Incidentaly his name and nationality are the same as those of Pope Francis.

So please, don't confuse him with Jorge María Bergoglio! Surely Bergoglio did not look so much older then Pope John-Paul II, and Cardinal Ratzinger during the time this photo was taken!!

Please forward the correction to many who are believing the mistake!

    Peace be with You all!
